Sogdiana was born Oksana Nechitaylo and is of Ukrainian descent. She was born in Tashkent on February 17, 1984. She was on the Russian show “Fabrika Zvezb 6″ and was voted off. There are clips of her performing on this show at youtube.com. You can also find a few more of her music videos on youtube.

She is one of the most popular singers in Uzbekistan who is also famous in Russia. She also starred in the movie “Sogdiana” which was made in 2006.
