I recently discovered this video clip on YouTube by Malika. This video is a good example of how much the quality of Uzbek songs and videos changed in the last couple of years. This is a pretty good quality video and is done very nicely.

There’s a new singer in Uzbekistan called Rizvongul. She is a former member of all girl band from Uzbekistan “Setora”. This band is called “SenTanho” now.
She made a new song called Bahtliman. You can listen to it here.

Abdulla Qurbonov is much more traditional and uses traditional Uzbek instruments. Traditional Uzbek is relaxing. I hope more Western artists incorporate Uzbek and other Middle Eastern sounds into their music. Justin Timberlake recently did this.
The video is actually scenes from a movie or something. The video shows scenes from Uzbek life.
